Some Perspective

The current efforts in congress are not about healthcare. They are about tax cuts for the super-wealthy.

For 7 or 8 years, the GOP has been selling one set of lies to their donors and a different set of lies to their constituents. They are currently pulling same old scam: They all claim to support ACA repeal (to string the donors along) but they want the repeal to fail (to string the voters along). If they actually passed a bill, one group or the other would know they'd been betrayed.

One slight problem: The kleptocrats have figured out that they're being scammed, and they are furious. They have spent billions of dollars to procure politicians who promised to repeal the ACA tax on unearned income, and they want what they paid for.
