    1. Still lying about the 2020 election. Note 2.

2 Notes

1.
If this isn’t a clear-cut impeachable offense, I don’t know what is.
2.
This is part of his never-ending efforts to undermine elections, dating back to the primaries in the summer of 2016.
3.
He actually got impeached for this. The passage of time does not make the conduct any less outrageous. The fact that he got acquitted is a scandal and an outrage of epic proportions.
4.
This is a twofer: Extortion is a crime and an impeachaable offense. Secondly, foreign interference in our elections is also a crime.
5.
This is another twofer: His never-ending efforts to overturn one election after another are super-outrageous. Secondly, even if the Atlanta raid weren’t election-related, it would be intolerable. Our forbears pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to put a stop to unreasonable searches and seizures. They started a war over this, as explained here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Writ_of_assistance
6.
Under US law, extortion is considered a form of bribery, i.e. solicitation of a bribe; see 18 USC 201. The constitution explicitly lists bribery as an impeachable offense.
7.
When Nixon used government agencies to do his personal and political dirty work, it formed one of the three articles of impeachment approved by the Judiciary Committee.
8.
Conjobservatives made a huge stink about payments to Hunter Biden, even though there was never any proof of bribery, i.e. no serious evidence that government decisions were affected. The bribery occurring now is a hundred times more clear-cut and the amount of money is a hundred times larger.
